Christian has been with Cardinal Venture Capital since the founding of the firm in 2000.
Prior to joining Cardinal, Christian was an entrepreneur in Europe starting two companies in his home country Denmark.
Later in his career, Christian worked as an attorney specializing in M&A, restructurings and equity financings, while also teaching contract and property law at Copenhagen University Law School and serving as Chairman of the Board of the Association of Young Lawyers.
At Cardinal, Christian focuses on Digital Media, SaaS and Mobile and he is responsible for Cardinal's investments in Zoove, Delivery Agent, DivX (NASDAQ: DIVX), PlayPhone, and Wireless Security Corporation (acquired by McAfee, MFE). Christian was also responsible for sourcing and securing Cardinal’s investments in SuccessFactors (NASDAQ: SFSF) and ChipCon (acquired by Texas Instruments).
Christian received his MBA from Stanford Business School, and his Summa Cum Laude Masters and Bachelor of Law Degrees from Copenhagen University in Denmark.
